I
received a Bachelor of Science degree from Carroll
College in 1967. A pre Med. degree was replaced by a
business major and resulted in a career in construction
for over 40 years. I came to respect structure,
connectivity and the inter-relation- ships between
systems, individual parts and processes. The ability of
systems to work together to form strong, yet flexible,
structures was fascinating.
I attended Rainstar
University and graduated in January 1999 with a Master
Therapist Certification. While still a student,! became
a Certified member of Associated Bodywork and Massage
Professionals in 1998 and achieved National
Certification in the spring of 1999. When I started my
massage education I wanted to "fix" the world. What I
found was an energetic system working in all things.
Wonderful instructors led me to CranioSacral and energy
work. I have taken continuing education courses from The
Upledger Institute and several other NCBTMB approved
providers.
CranioSacral training has vastly
altered my practice. I no longer deal only with
structure and "fixing" the problem. I use the energy
that I found present in all people to direct me to the
best possible therapy. Working with the very intelligent
entity that is my client, we agree on a path of
treatment that is the best. I have been trained in
CranioSacral Therapy, SomatoEmotiomal Release, Swedish
massage, Energetic muscle release, Reiki, Deep Tissue,
Trigger Point and Reflexology.
The direction of
my practice is moving towards a majority of CranioSacral
work. I find the most satisfaction and best results from
this protocol. Working with the energy of life and the
universe is very healing and nurturing. It can heal the
planet and all of us in the process. My goal is to be a
small part in a very large shift in the consciousness of
the world. CranioSacral Therapy is my chosen path to
this goal.
